The Joy Lies In The Question
We are always so busy trying to find quick ANSWERS when practicing… whereas the path to creativity often lies in the QUESTION itself rather than the answer which (once found) can often become a conceptual prison – and anyway, there are a million answers to each question, depending on the context and the person. 
Choosing the RIGHT question to ask is a fascinating challenge and often releases the most enlightening thought processes and revelations, leading to a MULTITUDE of opportunities. Developing this sensual and inquisitive relationship to our instrument and the music we play leads to such creative and learning independence, self-discovery and free thinking…the very building blocks of inspired music-making which elude every effort to be quantified or written down.
